Tut Fuller is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Capra Bank. He founded Capra Bank, after he successfully acquired Peoples Savings Bank and launched operations headquartered in Dubuque in April 2023.
Taking his wealth of family and personal banking experience, Fuller is building a bank that delivers something extra to the clients and communities it serves. He believes in building a true team, where elite talent works together to achieve a common goal and help others reach new heights. Fuller knows that combining top-notch talent with modern technology can give clients the edge they deserve. And when a bank is built on a foundation of integrity, making local decisions that benefit the local community, it can have a positive ripple effect that elevates everyone.
Prior to this, Tut held many different roles within the financial industry including CEO of DB&T and being HTLF’s Regional President over banks in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and Texas totaling ~$10B in assets. He also concurrently led M&A integration, Strategic planning, oversaw both Consumer Banking and Marketing EVPs, and led a project to generate ~$50 million dollars of cost savings at HTLF.
Fuller lives in Dubuque with his wife, Ali, and their three children. He’s an avid outdoorsman and adventurer, with a passion for exploring and viewing the world from a new perspective.
