With a banking career spanning four decades, Greg Garland has experienced the ebbs and flows of the financial industry and navigated them with impressive precision resulting in enviable success. A proud graduate of Texas Tech University, he spent his entire banking career in Lubbock and was instrumental in building a prominent community bank from the ground up.

In his daily work Greg is responsible for steering the strategic direction and driving growth in the Lubbock market for Capra Bank. As the leader of the talented team of Texas bankers, he provides guidance, helps establish and monitors the bank’s financial objectives, and helps customers reach new peaks in their personal and business lives.

In his free time, he remains active in the non-profit community. However, his favorite pastime is spending time with his beautiful bride of 40 years, three daughters, son-in-law, and three grandchildren. Greg also closely follows Red Raider Sports and loves time with family at the lake.

This Texas Tech sports fan is no stranger to success with a banking career highlighted by accomplishments over nearly 30 years. Working his way through the ranks, Tim found his passion in commercial lending where he’s helped numerous businesses across West Texas achieve new heights.

In his role, Tim oversees lending operations by ensuring loan quality and supporting the strategic goals of the bank while providing guidance to the lending team.

Anyone that knows Tim will tell you that he is a sports enthusiast! He enjoys cheering on his daughters at sporting events, watching the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and of course, he’s a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Married for 20 years, Tim has two daughters and enjoys sports and hunting in his free time.

Matt Graves has spent two decades serving customers in West Texas. With a proven track record of excellence, Matt is passionate about creating financial resources and tools to help his customers elevate to new levels of success. As an entrepreneur himself, he knows what it takes to support his customers with the right financial tools.

Matt works directly with Tim to generate new commercial business, support the bank’s strategic goals, and guide the commercial team.

He stays committed to the Lubbock community through frequent volunteerism and is an avid Texas Tech sports fan. In his free time Matt enjoys hunting with his dogs and spending time at the ranch.

Capra Bank is proud to have this sports fan and busy dad on its roster! After graduating from Texas Tech University in 2007 with his degree in business administration, Colton immediately started his career in the banking industry. He showed particular interest in lending and held positions in underwriting and credit before working his way to commercial banker. During the span of his career, Colton has helped numerous businesses, big and small, spanning many different industries, find success by offering the right solutions and personalized service.

Colton’s dedication extends to the community as well. He currently serves on the Shallowater Youth Football Board, and he is a director for the Shallowater Education Foundation which raises an impressive sum each year for the community’s public school system.

Colton and his lovely wife Lindsey live in Shallowater and have three energetic boys that stay very busy with sports. And somehow Colton finds the time to coach his sons’ teams as well!

This seasoned banker and busy dad graduated from Abilene Christian University, double majoring in accounting and finance. In 2011, Dustin began his career in banking with a focus on credit and lending. He quickly progressed through the ranks, gaining invaluable insights into credit analysis, risk management, and loan structuring before finding his calling as a commercial banker. His lending experience spans multiple industries including wholesale, manufacturing, commercial real estate, medical, and agriculture, however his specialty is in the sector of industrial lending. Dustin enjoys seeing his customers and their businesses thrive, so he applies his knowledge and experience to find the right solutions to elevate their business to the next level.

Dustin stays active in the community, having volunteered at several organizations over the years including Rotary, Young Professionals, County Fair Board, and Meals on Wheels. He has been married for 13 years and has two children, active in school and sports, as well as two furry family members. He lives each day by the words of the wise Tim McGraw who said, “Always stay humble and kind.”

Jared is a West Texas native and graduate of Texas Tech University. He began his banking career in 2002. Using his determination, natural talent, and knack for business Jared quickly moved through the ranks, holding different positions in several departments, before finally finding his place as a commercial banker. As a local community banker, Jared has helped numerous local businesses access opportunities and find success.

Jared is actively involved in his local church and the charitable community, having served on a number of non-profit boards over the years. Jared has been married to his lovely bride Ashley for 20 years. Together they have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and will soon welcome a grandchild. In his free time Jared enjoys hunting, hiking, and golfing.

This Texas Tech fan, seasoned banker, and West Texas native is your go-to for all things Treasury Management. With a banking career spanning nearly 30 years, Vince has the experience, knowledge, and drive to help his clients reach their next peak. Vince earned his undergraduate degree in business management at Texas Tech University and continued his education at Wayland where he completed his master’s program in human resource management. Vince is a talented banker as well as a small business owner, allowing him to understand the needs of Capra Bank’s customers.

He stays active in the non-profit community through frequent volunteerism and serves on the Covenant Foundation Hospital Board as the finance committee vice chair. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with Jessica, hanging out with his son Vance who is currently attending Texas State, working at his bar, Shotgun Sue’s, and hunting.

She is an integral part of the TM team and is known for her expertise, professionalism, and passion for delivering outstanding results. When Kim isn’t helping our customers reach new heights, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and grandson.

Here’s a customer favorite! Lindsey is a long-time resident of Lubbock who began her banking career in 2009. She has held positions as teller, retail banker, and lending assistant and worked her way up to Assistant Vice President at Capra Bank. Lindsey’s varied experience in banking makes her the “Swiss army knife” of Capra Bank with the ability to service our customers expertly with both their business and personal banking needs.

When she’s not being a fantastic banker and co-worker, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband, stepson, and daughter who is a sassy, little cheerleader in the making.

Peyton graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s of Business Administration. Peyton’s banking experience, education, and incredible customer service skills make her a perfect fit for the Capra Bank team. When she’s not at the bank elevating the definition of customer service, Peyton enjoys spending free time with her husband Ty and sweet baby son.

This longtime resident of Lubbock graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in English. She started her career in banking in 2006 as a marketing specialist. Over the course of her career, she worked at several well-respected community banks. She progressed through the ranks holding the positions of banking officer and marketing specialist, vice president of product strategy, and marketing director. In 2015 she earned the professional certification of Certified Financial Marketing Professional through the American Bankers Association.

As the director of marketing at Capra Bank, Kathy oversees brand integrity, advertising campaigns, social strategy and event planning, all of which work to support Capra Bank’s strategic goals.

Kathy serves on the board of the Children’s Advocacy Center, is an active member of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and regularly volunteers at a local dog rescue. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, and dog. Her hobbies include working out, wake-surfing, traveling, and watching her boys play sports.
